Terry Lee “Bucky” Walls

August 23, 1963 - December 23, 2021

Terry Lee “Bucky” Walls, age 58, of Selbyville, DE, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Born in Kittanning, PA on August 23, 1963, he was a son of Elizabeth (Hollenbaugh) Walls and the late Howard L. Walls. Bucky graduated from Delcastle High School in 1981. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1981 until 1985. After his service, Bucky worked as a refinery operator for Delaware City Refinery. He was a life member of the Wilmington Manor Volunteer Fire Company. Bucky was also a member of the American Legion Post 24 in Dagsboro and the Washington Lodge No. 1, A.F. & A.M. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates, boating, fishing, and spending time with his grandson, the apple of his eye.

In addition to his father, Bucky was preceded in death by his nephew, T.J. “Bubby” Bubacz. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Nancy (Mitchell) Walls; daughter, Kacie Walls (Donnie Jones); grandson, Tanon Jones; siblings, Patricia Johnson (JJ), Linda Walls, Jim Walls, Ron Walls, Rob Walls, and Debbie Dixon; nephew and godson, Eric Johnson; niece, Samantha Johnson; great-nephew, Bentley Johnson; 4 nieces; 2 nephews; 3 great-nieces; 3 great-nephews; and 1 great-great-niece.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 1 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bucky’s memory to the American Legion Post 24: Pavilion Fund, 28181 Nine Foot Road, PO Box 248, Dagsboro, DE 19939.
