Thomas Allan “Tom” Kidwell, Sr.

Thomas Allan “Tom” Kidwell, Sr., age 84, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Born in Jewell, MD on March 26, 1941, he was a son of the late William Felix and Mary Regina (McKenzie) Kidwell. Tom proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as an electrician for various companies over his career.
A friend to the community, Tom was a former firefighter for Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department in Dunkirk, MD. He enjoyed spending baseball and football season cheering on the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Commanders. In his spare time, Tom loved working in his vegetable garden and visiting car shows. He could often be found listening to bluegrass music.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by 3 brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy Ann (Frisco) Kidwell; children, Tommy Kidwell and Angela Kidwell; and grandchildren, Eddie Kidwell and Nichole Kidwell.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11:30 am. A committal service will follow in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
