Thomas F. Morris

Mr. Thomas F. Morris, age 75, of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
A native Delawarean, Mr. Morris was born in Wilmington on March 14, 1938, son of the late Martin F. Morris and Modesta Weaver Morris Johnson. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1955 to 1959. In civilian life, he made his career as a communications technician with Motorola Communications, where he worked for over 30 years. He later accepted a position with the communications department of the State of Delaware, retiring after 10 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Millie A. Reed Morris; children, Patrick F. Morris (Lisa) of Graterford, PA, Jeffrey S. Morris of Millsboro, and Dawn M. Morris of Newark; sister, Patricia C. Keller (E. Bruce) of Bear; and grandchildren, Hannah E. Morris, Samuel P. Morris, and Chad Wilkinson.
A committal service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
