  • Nobody could tell a funny story like Tom or play bartender (with his handy mixology book)) at his many cookouts and Eagles parties. My face hurt for a full day after from laughing so much. I’ll always cherish those memories of fun times spent with him. With deepest sympathy.

  • Our world is much dimmer without you, Tom. We’re thanking God for your beautiful wife and children and we’ll continue to love you through them.

  • Dear Carroll, Christine, and Robert ,

My heart breaks for you with the loss of your husband and father. Tom was one-of-a-kind. I’m going to miss Paul’s “Tom”isms and stories when he arrived home from bowling or golf. I still hear stories from way back when the things these guys did were scary, yet absolutely hilarious.
I cannot imagine the loss and heartache you are feeling right now. I know Tom touched a lot of lives with his thoughtfulness and sense of humor. He was so lucky to have all of you. His love for you was so apparent each time I got a chance to talk (laugh) with him. I do regret not spending more time at the Holleran gatherings at your home. My personal embarrassment kept me from enjoying more time with all of you.
Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot imagine that a day will go by that you won’t feel this loss, but I also hope that smiles will come when you think back on all the crazy, loving, hilarious, etc. things Tom did over the decades you have been together. I still remember that Paul and I sent Tom a letter from our Pre Kana (?) weekend. Carroll, you and Tom were an example to us, then and now, on what it means to be a loving couple and family.
Enormous hugs to all of you.
    With much love,
