Todd A. Johnson

It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Todd A. Johnson on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Todd was born May 6, 1961, in Wilmington, DE to parents Ellis and Betty Johnson who preceded him in death in 2011 and 2007.

Todd lived in Delaware and Maryland most of his life before moving to Pennsylvania in 2010. He worked as a tile setter in the early 80’s for Stella Artistic Tile where he mastered the craft. Todd worked as a professional long haul truck driver for various companies over the next 30 plus years. He loved the traveling, reading a map and easily providing directions. In 2021, Todd retired from Press Enterprise Newspaper as a warehouse worker due to illness. He was in the process of moving to Florida to be closer to his granddaughter, Tori, when he passed away.

In his younger years he enjoyed deer hunting with his Dad, uncle, and brothers. Todd was a very simple man with no pretense. He liked good ole rock and roll, ghost stories, paranormal activities, watching TV, and loved John Wayne movies. He could recite every word to any John Wayne movie.

Todd is survived by his siblings, Ellis B. Johnson Jr, Michael Johnson (Renee), Robin Johnson, Karen Reifendifer (Jake), and Scott Johnson; granddaughter, Tori (Ely); great-grandson, Able; as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He also leaves behind his little buddy pet cat Tommy who he loved and cared for.
