January 29, 1949 - September 10, 2019

          Tuan Duong, age 70, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family.

          Born in Thai Binh, Vietnam on January 29, 1949, he was a son of the late Nhung Trong Duong and Chinh Thi Luu.  Tuan worked as a material engineer for Boeing, retiring in 2011 after 13 dedicated years.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phong D. Duong.  Tuan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Ann Cook; children, Daniel H. Duong (Heather), Anthony D. Duong (Karen), Richard V. Duong, Susan J. Sappington (Victor) and Kevin W. Duong; siblings, Loc D. Duong (Dung), Nga Duong (Phan), Hai D. Duong, Mai Trang Cao Thanh (Minh) and Mai Anh Nguyen (Thien); sister-in-law, Lan Phuong Nguyen and 6 grandchildren.

          A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 pm until 4 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 4 pm.  Interment will be held privately.

I’ll always remember the chats we had about our kids and their accomplishments, the joy you expressed in learning about my kids and our discussions about the corporate world you and I were victims of yet survived over the years.
