Vanessa Cisneros, age 31, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
Born in Guanajuato, Mexico on September 18, 1991, she was a daughter of Lucina (Ramirez) Chavez and the late Celestino Cisneros Regalado. Vanessa was a graduate of William Penn High School and went on to further her education at Wilmington University, where she earned her business degree. While in college, she began her career at J.P. Morgan/Chase as a financial analyst, which she enjoyed for 9 years. Vanessa liked to travel and spend time with her family. Above all, she loved being a mother and cherished every memory she made with her precious daughter, Nury.
Vanessa is survived by her loving husband of 6 years, Erik Cisneros; daughter, Nury Cisneros; and siblings, Celestino Cisneros, Marcela Cisneros, Marc A. Cisneros, Jennifer Cisneros, and Yulissa Cisneros.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Holy Angels R.C. Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, DE. Interment will be held privately.

My deepest condolences go out to Vanessa’s family! I worked with her at JPMORGAN and we keep in touch. I was around when she had Nury visiting her and met her husband. Vanessa was such a sweet heart and always smiling and laughing around me. We said we were going to hang out again soon. But soon never came and she’s gone. My heart breaks 💔 I just texted her the other day because she was on my mind. Not knowing that she was already gone. No amount of words can describe the shock I’m in right now.
