Vincent Allen Baeder
December 3, 1960 - September 6, 2022
Vincent Allen Baeder, age 61, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
Born in Johnstown, PA, on December 3, 1960, he was a son of the late Eugene Baeder. Vincent graduated from Rising Sun High School and went on to attend Delaware Technical Community College to obtain his welding certification. He started his employment at Chrysler Corporation UAW local 1183 in 1984 where he dedicated 24 years until 2008. Vincent then went on to work at Claymont Steel from 2009 until 2013, Cabela’s Outfitters and GE Aviation from 2015 until 2019, and DuPont from 2021 until present.
Vincent was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Karen Baeder; children, Jeremy Baeder (Jeannie), Crystal Baeder, Sean Baeder (fiancé Kristina), D.L. Hipkins (Lia) and Christopher Baeder; mother, Patty Baeder; siblings, Darryl Baeder, Zachary Baeder (Ashley), Kimmie Roland (Dennis), and Aleta Baeder; his 11 grandchildren: Nathan Baeder, Anthany Baeder, Vinny Baeder, Alanna Sanders, Mariah Baeder, Alivia Mealy, Riley Stephano, Tyler Hipkins, Jaxson Hipkins, Julianna Besaw, and a grandchild to be; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Karen Calvert; and sister and brother-in-law, Tom and Michelle Hannum; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
All services will be held privately, and will be announced at a later date.
