Walter R. Rupp

Walter R. Rupp, age 80, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Born on February 23, 1942, he was a son of the late Walter R. and Dorothy Rupp. Walter was a 1960 graduate of Triadelphia High School in Wheeling, WV, and a graduate of West Liberty (WV) University. He was the proud owner of Weatherman Controls. Walter loved Corvettes and was a member of the Corvette Club.

In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte L. (Ewaskey) Rupp; and daughter, Carolyn Louise Rupp-Finney. He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Lynn Rupp; son-in-law, Robert Finney III; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
