Wanda C. Laramore - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Wanda C. Laramore

May 12, 1951 - October 19, 2026

Wanda C. Laramore, age 75, of Bear, DE, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Born in Wilmington, DE on May 12, 1951, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Ellen M. (Woodall) White. Wanda was passionate about her work as a labor and delivery nurse, dedicating her career to caring for others and helping families welcome their newest blessings into the world.

Wanda loved the simple things in life that brought her happiness. She cherished the summers spent at Rehoboth Beach, a family tradition that continued for many years and remained special to her and Brad. She was an avid reader who always seemed to have a book in her hand and enjoyed researching her ancestry and learning more about her family’s history. Wanda loved watching the hummingbirds at the feeders outside of her kitchen window, and she had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Abby, and all the German Shepherds that had been part of the family over the years. Above all, Wanda treasured the time she spent with her grandsons, Cole and Crew, who brought her so much joy. Growing up, she also had a creative side and was talented at cross-stitching and weaving all kinds of things. These little things were a reflection of who she was and the memories, traditions, and love she shared with those closest to her.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her son, Brandon P. Laramore and her brother, Dennis White. She is survived by loving husband of 51 years, Bradford E. “Brad” Laramore; son, Shawn Laramore (Janine); grandsons, Cole and Crew Laramore; brother, Lew White; niece, Kelly Crogg; nephew, Brian Mir (Alisa); and many other extended family members.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Georges Cemetery, Kirkwood-St. Georges Rd., St. Georges, DE.
