William C. “Bill” Calloway, Jr.

William C. “Bill” Calloway, Jr., age 70, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

Bill was born on September 23, 1950, in Wilmington, DE. He proudly served in the US Navy. Bill made his career as a line worker in the paint dept at the Newark Chrysler Assembly Plant for 30 years. He enjoyed playing the horses at Delaware Park and was an avid Atlanta baseball fan.

Bill is survived by his siblings, Ellen Mucha (Edward), Beverly Beckley (James), and Arthur Calloway, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 E. Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine per the CDC and Governor of Delaware.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s memory to the charity of your choice.
