William C. Pragg, age 85, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Born in Wilmington, DE on February 14, 1940, he was a son of the late Isaiah M. and Carlyss (Little) Pragg. William worked as an assembler at Chrysler Co. for 30 years until his retirement.
William was an experienced mechanic and loved to work on cars. He enjoyed spending his free time at the Moose Lodge 851. He was passionate about his family and loved getting daily phone calls from his children. He loved to travel and went on numerous trips with family.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite A. Pragg; son, David Rogers; granddaughter, Amy Spicer; and 9 siblings. He is survived by his children, William M. Pragg of Elkton, MD, Carl J. Pragg (Cheryl) of Inverness, FL, Robert W. Pragg (Sheila) of Oxford, PA, Marie A. Collins (Joe) of Perryville, MD, Nancy Sammons (Buddy) of Dover, and Alfred Rogers (Linda) of Cedar Key, FL; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 6 siblings.
All services will be held privately.
