William F. “Bill” Foy

William F. “Bill” Foy, age 81, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on June 30, 1944, he was a son of the late James A. and Mary (Casey) Foy. Bill proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in various fields over the years; a cigar factory in Trenton, NJ, Strick Trailers in Langhorne, PA, and the City of Trenton. Bill eventually made his career as an inspector at General Motors in Wilmington. He also loved to volunteer his time at St. Joseph Parish and the MOT Senior Center.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his siblings, Donna Lindsey, Marlene Ross, Edward Foy, James E. Foy, Robert Foy, Mary Grace “Molly” Foy, Donald Casey, Shirley Cavanaugh, Joan Foy, Carol Becker, and Nancy Stacer. He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie (Huckel) Foy; daughter, Melissa Foy Andrusko; siblings, Leo Foy, John Foy, Gerald Foy, Judy M. Roczka, and Nadine Foy; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 10:30 am on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE. A funeral Mass will begin at 11 am, following the visitation, at St. Joseph Parish, 319 East Main Street, Middletown, DE. Inurnment will be held privately.
