9 Condolences for William F. Lawler

  • Bill was Euharistic Minister at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Bear De. His last officer’s post at the 4th. Degree was Trustee. He was very active in the past many years with the K of C as an Officer and Color Guard Officer. I last spoke with him Feb. 16 after Mass. He was most caring for Diane who is at Genesis Health Care, Hockessin…and was devoted to her for so many years during her illness. An honorable Christian in so many ways. I pray that his soul is at rest with his Creator.

  • I recall Bill from my early days in joining the Knights of Columbus. He was an outstanding man and very generous gentleman. Although I’m sure all of you are devastated at his sudden loss, but take comfort and consolation in the reassurance that he is with the Lord and you will be reunited with him in the resurrection ! Offering my sincerest sympathies from both of my home Council – Church of the Holy Child #12190 and my 4th Degree Bishop Thomas Mardaga Assembly #2014. VIVAT JESUS ! S. K. Thomas M. Yarmolyk, PGK

  • SK Bill Lawler was Master of the 4th Degree when I joined DE State Council and after establishing Msgr. Dewson Council # 13821 at St. Ann’s Parish in 2005 as their founding GK. He was the one of the most giving Knights as we navigated through our first few years. I personally enjoyed his friendship as I began my GK & SK journey. After my father died, he called me and said he was praying for me and my family….that’s who SK William Lawler was! God’s peace and rest to you my brother, KNIGHT.

  • My sincerest condolences to the Lawler family. I remember Bill when I worked at Chrysler Newark Assembly Plant. Bill was present when I took my degree for the Knights of Columbus at Holy Child. He is a Worthy Brother now with God. Rest In Peace Bill.
