William H. Twardus, age 74, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020.

Born in Wilmington, DE on December 27, 1945, he was a son of the late Henry A. and Clara Twardus. William worked as a driver at Waste Management for over 40 years. He enjoyed collecting railroad memorabilia and trains. In his spare time, William liked going out to eat and visiting Sandy Cove Ministries. He was a member of the Delaware Saengerbund.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Clara Twardus. He is survived by his wife, Dianna M. Twardus of Wilmington; and brother, Henry W. Twardus of Felton.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE. Face masks will be required for all in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
