  • Bev and Dave so shocked by this news. I didn’t know Billy, but my dad Art talked about him all the time. My thoughts and prayers go out to both of you and your family. Love

  • Bev – so impressed by your son’s life I read about here. Truly he was one of Bev’s boys. He looks so happy in all the pictures he was in, especially the main photo. He really made good out of his life and the wonderful job he had. We don’t know yet why sad things happen to good people, but please be comforted by this: Jesus loves your son even more than you do – he is in the safest and best embrace possible.
    Love to you.
    Elisabeth

  • I don’t know what else to say, or how to feel.
    My dad’s favorite hymn helped a bit. Until we meet again, Vilhelm:

    God be with you till we meet again;
    By his counsels guide, uphold you;
    With his sheep securely fold you.
    God be with you till we meet again.

    God be with you till we meet again;
    When life’s perils thick confound you,
    Put his arms unfailing round you.
    God be with you till we meet again.

    Hey Bill,
    I don’t know why, and don’t know why not. We can discuss this one later. You are the most intrepid seeker of life that I knew and know now. Rest well.
    See you later.

  • Bev, remember the good times, because those memories will get you through all your pain and sorrow. Take comfort in knowing that your family and friends will help you get through this difficult time. Please know that I will be praying for you and thinking about you and will be there if you need anything as you were there for me when I needed you. God Bless

  • Bev, Chris, and Dave,
    It has been quite a few years since you all came to Pleasant Hills bowling alley on Sunday nights with Billy and bowled together as a family. You quickly became my regulars as I worked the snack bar. Before I knew it your family welcomed me into your home. I spent a few special holidays and memories with you all that I have always cherished. Halloween always being my favorite. You all surly knew how to party and knew how to keep this girl laughing no matter what I had going on at the time. Billy was always a riot with his overly active hyper self. Forever doing something off the wall but forever making everyone laugh. From what I hear he never changed throughout the years. I pray that you all hold tight to the happy memories and hold tight to each other. I know he will forever be the young boy who would innocently flirt and crack jokes with me as he waited for his French fries.
    Your family will remain my thoughts and prayers.
    My Deepest Sympathies
    Love,
    Shanon

  • So sorry for your loss John and Val. Seek comfort in the memories you made and the life he lived. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  • I’m so sorry to hear of this. I worked across the hall from Bill. He would come over and say hello sometimes. Always super friendly. Polite. He talked highly of his family in Delaware. Truly one of a kind. Love to all of you. 💗

  • I will never forget that summer in the Buick. 50 Cent was all we could hear. Stuck in the tape deck. See you on the other side.

  • I am so very sorry for your loss! Chris and Billy were good friends of mine through Conrad and Dickinson! I pray for your family, and for all those families who have someone struggling with addiction! It has taken over our generation. I myself have been touched by the dangerous hands of addiction. It affects everyone through all walks of life, and it is a forever struggle! I was class president, and second in line for valedictorian, and now have a Masters Degree in clinical mental health counseling so that I can help all those who need it, as I have been through the struggle myself! We have lost too many of our dear friends to this disease, and it is time to put an end to it! I will forever think of Billy as the sweet, funny, athletic kid brother of my friend Chris who lived down the street from me. He was always outside his house playing basketball with his brother whenever I would ride over on my bike! He will be dearly missed!! My heart goes out to you all!

  • today was Billy‘s birthday to a young man who touched so many peoples hearts it’s been a hard day for all of us I just want to send out love and thanks to everybody who supported the family through all

  • I miss my son so much each and every day love you baby and so sad silly Billy you will never know how many lives you touched!! Till we meet again praying and hugs and kisses
