Yvette A. Demers, age 92, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
Born in Manchester, NH on June 15, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Adrian and Delina (Beland) Tremblay. Yvette dedicated her life to caring for her family as a homemaker.
Devoted to her faith, Yvette was a member of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, where she served as a reader for over 37 years. She enjoyed giving back to others as a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for decades.
In addition to her parents, Yvette was preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Demers; and sisters, Anita Brasley and Helene Langevin. She is survived by her children, Claire Noonan, Albert Demers (Nancy), Robert Demers (Karen), and Andrew Demers (Christine); 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:45 am until 10:45 am on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 am, following the visitation, at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, 801 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE. A committal service will follow in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
