Zachary Scott “Zack” Platt

Zachary Scott “Zack” Platt, age 26, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
Born in Newark, DE on September 8, 1996, he was a son of Matthew Joseph “Matt” and Catherine (Gorak) Platt. Zack worked in customer service at Chelsea Wine & Spirits.
In his spare time, Zack enjoyed writing poetry and listening to all types of music. He could often be found playing video games, or watching Anime, Dr. Who, or Disney. Above all, Zack loved hanging with the guys and cherished every memory he made with them.
Zack was preceded in death by his older sister, Danielle Mae Conner. He is survived by his parents, Matt and Catherine Platt; twin brother, Joshua Dalton Platt; and furry brothers, Buzz and Woody.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 pm until 6 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 6 pm. Interment will be held privately. The family encourages friends and family to wear Dr. Who and Disney shirts, with Zack in mind, wear something he would love.
